We help build confidence in Girls & Women by IGNITING their DIVINE ENERGY!
Our fundraising initiative is to support youth and families of the foster care system around the globe. Our goal is to provide resources, academic support and life and career skills. Annually, we host a fundraiser to help give girls in foster care new bras. We have donated 165 bras to date. We also have donated 200 pair of shoes to girls and boys in foster care. We provide services to youth in foster care at no cost. Your donations and sponsorships help our cause!
There are an estimated 3,300+ youth experiencing homelessness in metro Atlanta at any given time
covenanthousega.org. These include teens and young adults living on the streets, in shelters, or “couch-surfing” precariously with friends. Such youth often come from backgrounds lacking supportive resources – for example, 50% of youths who age out of foster care experience homelessness within 6 months.
This stark statistic shows how the absence of family or mentorship support can directly lead a young person into poverty and homelessness. Many homeless girls have histories of trauma: 42% of homeless youth in Atlanta suffered abuse as children
and a disproportionate number are LGBTQ+ who were kicked out of homes.
Lacking a stable home or adult guidance, these youths struggle to focus on school or personal growth – daily survival becomes the priority. Homeless girls are often forced to drop out of school, cannot attend extracurriculars, and miss out on job opportunities due to lack of transportation or proper attire.

Blended Families is a documentary follows a dedicated family in Georgia who has fostered children for over 20 years, opening their hearts and home to dozens of kids from the state’s foster care system. Through their journey, the film reveals the challenges and triumphs of fostering, shedding light on the deep bonds formed with each child and the transformative power of unconditional love. It also highlights the complexities and critical needs within Georgia’s foster care system, where limited resources often mean children face uncertain futures. The family’s story is a testament to resilience, compassion, and the lasting impact of a nurturing environment. We will engage with some of the agencies that train individuals that are interested in fostering or adopting children in the foster care system.
Our Women owned production crew, Annie's Way Production is combined with former foster youth, military veterans and interns who are apart of our current programs.

ABOUT OUR ORGANIZER
Demetrice 'Demi' Dixon, wife, mother of 3, career woman and community leader. Demi began mentoring girls at the early age of 12 when she became a foster sister. Growing up, Demi was the youngest of 6 siblings until she became a big sister to kids in foster care. This passion was instilled in Demi from childhood. After graduating high school Demi became a mother at the age of 19. Her journey as a young mother, wife and business owner at once all while needing mentorship, birthed Purpose.
